Basic concepts of OSB
Oriented strand board is versatile and widely used a structural wood panel. Made with wood strands of rectangular shape arranged in transversely
oriented layers, bonded with waterproof adhesives, and pressed at high temperatures.
OSB is an engineered wood panel that shares many of the strength and performance characteristics of plywood.
The combination of wood and quality adhesives make up a strong and dimensionally stable panel, resistant to deflection, delamination and deformation; Likewise, the panels resist very well to demanding seismic and wind conditions.
In relation to their strength, OSB panels are lightweight and easy to handle and install.
